Senior Mechanical Engineer
Cardiff
£40,000 - £50,000

We are seeking a motivated and versatile Senior Mechanical Engineer to join one of the South West’s leading MEP consultancies in their Cardiff office.

You will play a key role in the engineering team, working with a strong team across sectors including defence, leisure, residential, commercial, residential and heritage.

Key Duties…

• Provide mechanical building services design to buildings and infrastructure work
• Work both independently and as part of a wider team
• Liaise with clients and external design teams
• Attend site visits and surveys
• Contribute to the growth and development of the Plymouth office and wider company

Who You’ll Be…

• Educated to bachelor’s or master’s degree in mechanical engineering or building services. Or hold the equivalent level of relevant education
• Strong track record working across multiple projects
• Full IT literate including relevant experience using AutoCAD, NES, Amtech, Revit, Cymap and MS Office
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Understand managing and setting budgets
• Able to work under pressure
• Hold a full UK driving license
