Job Title: Part 1 Architectural Assistant
Location: Bristol
Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience
Contract Type: Full-Time, Permanent

We are an established and design-focused architectural practice based in the heart of Bristol, looking for a talented and enthusiastic Part 1 Architectural Assistant to join our growing team.

About the Role:
As a Part 1 Architectural Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting the design and delivery of a diverse range of projects across various sectors, including residential, commercial, and community schemes. You’ll have the opportunity to develop your skills in a collaborative and creative studio environment, working closely with senior architects and team members.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with the preparation of design proposals and presentation materials

• Support in the development of planning and technical drawings using AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar software

• Conduct site visits, surveys, and research as required

• Collaborate with clients, consultants, and contractors throughout the design and construction process

• Contribute to project reviews and team meetings

Requirements:

• A recognised RIBA Part 1 qualification (Bachelor’s degree in Architecture)

• Strong design and graphic communication skills

• Proficiency in CAD software and Adobe Creative Suite

• A positive attitude, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team

• Previous experience in practice (placement or internship) is desirable but not essential
