Contracts Manager - Housing Developer

About Our Client:
We are delighted to be partnering with a prestigious housing developer renowned for delivering high-quality residential projects. With a robust portfolio and a commitment to excellence, our client is seeking an experienced and dynamic Contracts Manager to join their team. This role will be instrumental in overseeing three key sites in Devon, totalling 220 units.
Role Overview:
As the Contracts Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the successful delivery of our client's ambitious housing projects. You will oversee all contractual aspects of the construction process, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Management: Oversee the management of three residential development sites in Birmingham, ensuring all contractual obligations are met.
- Contract Administration: Manage all contract-related documentation, negotiations, and agreements.
- Cost Control: Monitor project budgets and costs, implementing measures to maintain financial efficiency.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure all developments meet the highest standards of quality, adhering to regulatory and client specifications.
- Team Leadership: Lead and mentor site managers and other team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
- Risk Management: Identify and mitigate potential risks, ensuring compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers, ensuring clear communication and effective collaboration.
Candidate Profile:
- Experience: A minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar role within the housing development sector, preferably with a PLC developer.
- Qualifications: Relevant qualifications in construction management, civil engineering, or a related field.
- Skills: Strong leadership, negotiation, and communication skills. Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Knowledge: In-depth understanding of contract law, construction processes, and health & safety regulations.
- Attributes: Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
